Food Resources

  • Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program

    • Access groceries including fresh produce, pantry staples, meat, and dairy products at MCHPP’s Food Pantry in Brunswick.

    • Location: 12 Tenney Way, Brunswick

  • Bath Area Food Bank

    • Those residing in Bath, West Bath, Woolwich, Arrowsic, Georgetown, and Phippsburg can access groceries, including fresh produce, at the Bath Area Food Bank

    • Location: 807 Middle Street, Bath

  • Brunswick Farmers’ Market

    • SNAP benefits are accepted, and users earn additional “bonus bucks” to be used on more produce purchases.

Domestic Violence Support

  • Through These Doors

    • Offers free and confidential support for those experiencing domestic abuse. Services include a 24-hour helpline, emergency shelter, and support groups throughout Cumberland County.

    • Provides support for people affected by domestic abuse, offering safety planning, legal advocacy, emergency shelter, and support groups in Midcoast Maine.

  • Metro Breez

    • A bus service providing regional transportation between Portland, Freeport, Brunswick, and Bath.

  • Brunswick Link

    • A local shuttle service offering transportation within Brunswick, providing easy access to various destinations.

    • 27 stops located in-town, on Brunswick Landing, throughout the Cook’s Corner area, both campuses of Mid Coast Hospital, Martin’s Point healthcare, and other healthcare practices.

Healthcare

  • Oasis Free Clinic

    • Offers whole-person primary care medical, dental, vision, and mental health services to uninsured adults ages 18 – 64 in Midcoast Maine.

  • Planned Parenthood – Topsham Health Center

    • Services range from an annual check-up to prenatal and postpartum care. The group facilitates access to contraception, abortion, & pregnancy test/planning.

  • MaineHealth Free Care 

    • Provides full, no-cost care to any patient at or below 200% of the poverty level. Services are offered at the Midcoast Hospital off of Bath Road and at their walk-in clinic at 22 Station Avenue in Brunswick.

  • Sweetser Hope & Healing Center 

    • Provides mental health and behavioral health services, including counseling, peer support, and crisis intervention. Walk-in services are available.
