Volunteer Opportunities

Help bring Race the Runways back to life

A race takes a lot of people behind the scenes. From setting up before sunrise to cheering runners across the finish line, volunteers are what help turn Race the Runways from a course on the calendar into a great community event.

We're planning to open volunteer registration in early March 2027, but if you'd like to be part of it, we'd love to hear from you sooner.

Ways to get involved

There will be plenty of jobs to do before, during, and after race morning, including (but not limited to):

  • Course support — Help runners find their way and keep the course running smoothly

  • Water stations — Keep runners hydrated along the route

  • Start/finish line — Help with race-day setup, runner flow, and finish-line activities

  • Bib pickup — Welcome runners and help get them ready for race morning

  • Parking — Help direct runners and spectators to designated parking areas

  • Race-day setup — Help get the start and finish areas ready before runners arrive

  • Post-race celebration — Help with games, prizes, and keeping the celebration going

  • Cleanup — Help us leave Brunswick Landing and our race sites in great shape

Want to get involved early?

Volunteer registration will open in March 2027 with specific shifts and sign-up information.

If you already know you'd like to help, Emily Bollman, Tedford's Volunteer & In-Kind Coordinator, would love to hear from you. Reach out to express your interest, let us know if you have a particular role in mind, or tell us if you'd like to volunteer as part of a group.
